Celebrating 180 Years
The 2025 Annual Appeal campaign is Shaaray Tefila’s most important fundraiser of the year because of the strong financial impact that it will make in the year ahead. In celebration of Shaaray Tefila's 180th Anniversary, please make a donation to enable us to continue to enhance our spiritual offerings, offer diverse programming and educational initiatives for all ages, allowing us to expand our reach, and nourish our community.

Shaaray Tefila has been the spiritual heart of our family for over four decades. My parents were members, and nearly 50 years ago, my spouse and I were married under its roof. It’s where our children celebrated their bar and bat mitzvahs, were confirmed, and later, where each of them was married by Rabbi Stein. it's where our grandchildren have gone to nursery school and most recently, our eldest grandchild, Ashley, became a bat mitzvah, continuing a cherished family tradition. Through every life milestone, Shaaray Tefila has been more than a synagogue—it has been a source of community, continuity, and profound meaning for four generations of our family.

I have been a member of the TST Social Club committee for many years and am proud of the increased interest in the events and programs we put together. We aim to build community and create friendships through social and educational engagement for all TST adult members. I love the opportunity it affords us to meet new people in a social setting and have also benefited personally from developing deeper relationships with event attendees – and my fellow committee members.
